Morris Dancing Taster Sessions
Large Village Hall, 8:00pm - 10:00pm
Hurst Morris People, celebrating their 25th birthday, are inviting everyone to have a go at morris dancing at two special taster sessions. Potential dancers and musicians are invited to have a go. HuMP is a mixed side so men and women are welcome. Ages range from 20 somethings to older. The idea of the tasters is to have fun finding out about an English custom which is at least 500 years old. Tea, coffee, cake and a visit to the pub are on offer. The side, which dances Cotswold morris using hankies and sticks, was formed in 1989 by Hurst villagers Christine and Tim Taylor. For more details call Sue Corcoran on 0118 932 0571, Ian Brant on 0118 926 8187, email Contact@hump.org.uk or visit our website
