Movember
The Gentlemen of Hurst are dedicating their top lips for the month of Movember.
Movember is all about bringing back the moustache, having fun and doing it for a serious cause; men's health, specifically prostate cancer and testicular cancer.
Mo Bros commit to growing a moustache for the 30 days of Movember, and in doing so become walking and talking billboards for the cause.
The moustache is our ribbon, the symbol by which we generate conversations, awareness and raise funds for men's health.
Together we have raised over £700 this year so far.

St.Nicholas Christmas Fair
Large Village Hall, 12 noon - 4:00pm
There will be all of our normal favourite stalls and
there will also be something new and exciting just for
this year. Father Christmas is taking some time off from
getting all the girls and boys presents ready and will be
visiting us for the afternoon. St.The Nicholas School
children will be there to entertain us with Christmas Songs.
Raffle tickets will be available to buy at the end of the month.

Climbing Kilimanjaro - Charity Auction
Large Village Hall, 7:30pm - 11:00pm
Victoria Kendall is raising money for the Alzheimer's Society.
She is aiming to raise £4,000 and is already half-way
there. Next year she will be climbing the 5,896m Mount Kilimanjaro.
To help with the fundraising she is holding a charity auction with lots of exciting items to bid on.
Tickets £15 which includes a two course meal.
