Chocolates for Chocoholics
We are very excited to announce we are running two Easter themed chocolate workshops.
We welcome all ages but we would recommend children are aged 3+.
Tickets are £25 per person and this includes decorating, filling and wrapping your own Easter egg, and making Easter lollies.
The workshops are approx 45-60 mins long and are held at our offices in Hurst, RG10 0SS.

Hurst Scout Group are helping organise a Spring Litter pick as part of #GreatBritishSpringClean.
Let's keep Hurst tidy!
When? Sunday 24th March, 11am for 1 hour (or as long as you can spare)
Where? Meet at the Scout hut on School Road to allocate yourself a road in the village - this can be your street!
How? We will provide litter pickers, high-viz gilets, health & safety briefing and green waste bags that will be collected by the household waste folks when full
Who? This is open to everyone in the community. All are welcome

Henley Arts Trail
Henley Arts Trail is taking place over the first bank holiday weekend in May and once again Hurst is hosting one of the 34 venues. For three days 150 artists will be showing paintings, sculpture, jewellery and ceramics.
Entry to all venues is free and they are open 10am-5pm.
Joe De Mounteney, Christina Taylor Smith, Manuela Kagerbauer and Liz Chaderton will be displaying painting, printmaking and sculpture at 1 Whistley Court Farm, Lodge Road, Hurst, RG10 0EJ.

We meet every Tuesday at 6.30pm at a local pub and then run 5k back to the pub and have a social.
We cater for all abilities so don’t be shy.

The Walnuts are a bunch of middle-aged guys (and that's being kind to at least one or two of them) who love playing all sorts of music including Celtic, folk and Americana. They raise money for charities by playing concerts in people’s front rooms, back gardens, kitchens, village halls, churches, islands, boats, shop fronts, service stations, lighthouses and vineyards (anywhere really). Over the years they have toured both Europe and Scotland.

Since 1902 the Hurst Horticultural Society has organised a village show and this year is no different.
Classes for Horticultural, Home Industries, Children's and Scarecrow.
Live music, alpacas, cream teas, wines, beers, hot food and ice creams.

In Hurst we are very lucky to have an amazing network of over 60 volunteers available to offer help should you need it for shopping, collecting medications or just someone to have a chat with during these difficult times.

If you would like to speak to us, or want to ask for help for yourself or a neighbour, please view the list of helpers and we’ll see how we can help.

You can easily find volunteers in your area - just select your road or click on a map.

Some volunteers have offered to have a chat on the phone, some have offered to collect any medication and some to shop. If the volunteer cannot help directly, they can contact another volunteer for you.
